Paraestra Academy over the world

Praestra was established by Yuki Nakai on 1st Dec1997 in Ekota Tokyo. The name of Paraestra is from Greece Era, Roman Empire that Pankration. They enjoyed to fight, enjoyed to watch, but they enjoyed not only fight, they enjoyed communication as a salon for fighting event.

Nakai sensei made a catch phrase "Martial Arts Communications" for Paraestra.

He influenced many students, so Paraestra Dojo is more than 40 in the world now.

YUKI NAKAI

The founder of Paraestra

Yuki Nakai (中井祐樹, Nakai Yūki) is the founder of Paraestra, he is running Paraestra Tokyo in Japan, and is the president of the Japanese Confederation of BJJ. He competed in Shooto, an early MMA promotion where he won the Shooto World Welterweight Championship, as well as Vale Tudo Japan 1995, where he was outweighed by every opponent in the tournament. Despite this, and despite suffering a severe eye injury in the first bout, Nakai managed to make it to the finals where he lost to Rickson Gracie.

Nakai started training judo and amateur wrestling at Hokkaido Sapporo North high school, originally with the dream to be a professional wrestler. After entering Hokkaido University, he joined the judo club and started training renowned Kodokan master Kanae Hirata.

At fifth grade, now as a black belt. Nakai competed at the Nanatei kosen judo championship, leading his university to the victory in 1992. At the same time, he joined the amateur division of mixed martial arts promotion Shooto, learning shoot wrestling under Satoru Sayama at the Super Tiger Gym.

His very warm friendly personality, he infuluenced many students. He operates Paraestra Tokyo himself.

　Paraestra Kosugi Dojo is home garage Dojo, this is not proper business Dojo. This is for everyone who wants to enjoy Martial Arts. Great for fitness as well. Very easy going atmosphere Dojo.

Paraestra QLD Kosugi Dojo was published in 2019, the professor Takeshi Kosugi (called Taka), after he has got his Black Belt from his best friend Daniel Higgins( Paraestra QLD head coach) and Tyrone Johns(Ares MMA Palaestra head coach).

Paraestra head office is in Tokyo Japan, the founder Yuki Nakai, he is a pioneer of BJJ and MMA of Japan. Nakai Sensei's Vale Tudo Japan is legend fight. Taka was training under Nakai Sensei few years though, Taka made a connection Nakai Sensei and professor Dan Higgins.
